Adam Parsons Adam Parsons
Middle School Bible

Adam was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in the nearby town of Damascus. Early on he received exposure to the Gospel, but his real passion was for soccer. At the age of sixteen, Adam found himself discontented with life, and he wondered if there was more to life than what he was experiencing. In the midst of difficult circumstances, also motivated by his mother’s request, Adam began attending Calvary Chapel Southeast in May of 2001. Shortly thereafter, he surrendered his life to Christ and discovered that a living relationship with Jesus is what he was longing for (John 10:10).

Following a recommendation by his pastor, Adam began attending Calvary Chapel Bible College (CCBC) in January of 2003, completing his degree at an extension campus in York, England. While in York, Adam learned through others’ examples the importance of walking in grace, and was given the opportunity to serve as an intern at the York Bible College for six months.

In January of 2006, Adam moved to Tucson. Shortly after his move, Adam came on staff as an intern pastor, now seeking to be available to serve in whatever capacity the Lord has for him. He has a heart for equipping the saints for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:12), that the body of Christ might grow and be edified.

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.” -- Titus 2:11-12
